Man Painted On Airbnb Walls, Earned Him a Lifetime of Free Stay

One of the greatest fears for Airbnb hosts is that a guest will leave behind a terrible mess – but one got the ultimate surprise when a guest left behind an incredible mural on his walls.

This time around the host didn’t mind at all. Eric the Airbnb host actually requested for his guest to paint anything he wanted on the wall. Although it’s because he knew he had Ali Sabet was staying at his Airbnb in Tokyo and his work sells for up to $15,000 dollars.

He’s so happy with the result he actually offered Ali a refund for his stay and a free place to stay at whenever he is back in town.

“I was truly honored. So I left a little love behind!” – Ali Sabet

Ali paints with Japanese brushes and Sumi ink, so adding a bit of art to a home in Tokyo was a pretty natural fit.

He also painted a little something on the bathroom walls

Ali even filmed his process and sent it over to Eric to watch

To top that off, Ali gifted Eric an original piece that he can frame and hang where ever he wants. Overall I think it ended up being a great deal for them, especially now that their story is slowly going viral online.

If you want check out more of Ali’s art, visit his website. If you’re interested in booking the apartment to see the mural for yourself, check out Eric’s Airbnb listing.
